3D project 2 Blue Gender Helmet

For project 2 I will be creating the helmet that soldiers wear in the anime Blue Gender. For My research project I will be learning how to use 3D Studio Max, a model software many game companies use.

3D Week 3-4


Theese past two weeks I worked on completing the game res meshes for the Scarecrow and flying monkey. Next I created the UVs them and took them into substance painter.

3D Semester 3 Week 1-2

For My First Project this semester I will be revisiting a project from Semester 1. Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz.



Here I used Melissa Almirall's flying Monkey concept as reference.
My next move is to use zspheres to give the monkey a better pose and start retopoing.

Personal Project Part 3

This week I worked more on the hard surface aspect pf my Spartan using the trim curve brush and learning to create edges with polygroups. Luckily I have no capstone work this week so I can focus on my personal project.

3D Personal Project Part 2


This past week I worked on blocking out the armor and changing the Spartans pose. I still have a lot of work to do.

I may have scope bombed myself but we will see. the pouches and other attachments are fairly geometric and simple. If I don't have enough time I may leave out some of the accessories.

3D Personal Project Spartan III

This Week I began working on my Spartan III sculpt from a Halo Reach Concept.
I started sculpting and adding subtools to a base mesh created by Francisco Romero.

3D Final Project Part 1

This week I will begin my final sculpt for 3D. I will be working from an unused concept from Halo reach.


 Here I am blocking out the basic shapes of the armor. I plan to work in symmetry first. Then Adjust the sculpt to a more dynamic pose using z spheres. I am going to try to use fusion 360 for some of the parts. By next Monday I will figure out if the scope is too big. If so I will cut the model in half and turn it into a bust. After My decision I will continue to sculpt into the week focusing on the outer parts of the armor.

Environment High Resolution Part 01

This week I worked on creating my Starfish Trooper VR scene. In the Scene our hero will be going toe to toe with invading space squids.
To create the environment I used World Machine.
